Itinerary Details

Arrive at Chennai International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the vibrant city of Chennai, visiting attractions such as Marina Beach, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Fort St. George, and the Government Museum. Experience the local cuisine and immerse yourself in the cultural ambiance of the city.

Have an early breakfast and leave for Tirupati situated in Tirumala Hills. Holy adobe of Lord Venkateshwara is visited by millions of tourists every year. From the scenic road drive to darshan of Lord, the picturesque pilgrimage city is a must visit. You can take darshan tickets to have the bellsings of Lord. After darshan and pooja, you can return to Chennai or opt a stay in Tirupati.

Depart from Chennai and travel to Mahabalipuram. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram, including the Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance, and the Pancha Rathas (Five Rathas). Explore the intricately carved stone sculptures and marvel at the architectural brilliance.

Proceed to Kanchipuram, known as the "City of Thousand Temples." Visit the famous temples of Kanchipuram, such as Ekambareswarar Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple, and Varadharaja Perumal Temple.

Post breakfast, leave for Tanjore. Visit the Chola Temple of Brihadesshwara also renowned as world heritage sites. Its majestic architecture, palaces and art galleries are worthy and awe-struck to visit. Get indulge in Saree shopping as the city is famous for silk. Take a short drive from Thanjavur to Darasuram and visit the Airavatesvara Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage site. This 12th-century temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and showcases exquisite carvings, intricate sculptures, and a unique architectural style.

Explore the Royal Palace and the Saraswathi Mahal Library in Thanjavur. Continue to Trichy (Tiruchirappalli) and visit the famous Rockfort Temple and Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam. Visit the Jambukeshwara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Thiruvanaikaval area. This ancient temple is renowned for its architectural beauty and houses the lingam (symbol of Lord Shiva) submerged in water, signifying the element of water's importance in the temple's mythology. Pay homage to Lord Murugan at the Vayalur Murugan Temple, located amidst picturesque surroundings. This temple is believed to have been visited by several saints and sages throughout history and is revered for its spiritual significance.

Madurai is well known city for rich history, vibrant culture and magnificent Meenakshi Amman Temple. After check in the hotel, visit Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, Gandhi Memorial Museum, Koodal Azhagar Temple and return back to hotel. You can explore some shopping in evening.

Meenakshi Amman Temple is the most iconic temple is the crown jewel of Madurai and a major pilgrimage site. Dedicated to Goddess Meenakshi (an incarnation of Goddess Parvati) and Lord Sundareswarar (Lord Shiva), the temple complex is known for its intricate carvings, colorful gopurams (entrance towers), and sacred ponds. Witness the grandeur of the temple architecture and immerse yourself in the spiritual ambiance. Leave for Rameshwaram and check in hotel and stay overnight.

Visit the most important and famous Lord Shiva Temple- Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in early morning to have Ekling darshan and all other prayers and Abhishekam. After all rituals, head for city tour which includes visit to Pamban Bridge, Dhanushkodi Beach, Agnitheertham, Abdul kalam Memorial. Take a trip to Dhanushkodi, a ghost town located at the eastern tip of Rameshwaram. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the pristine beaches and witness the meeting point of the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean. Stay overnight in Hotel.

Leave the Rama City and reach Trivendrum. Check in hotel and stay overnight.

Post breakfast, visit most famous Shree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Arts Gallery, Zoological Gardens, Observatory and Kankakunnu Palace. Return to hotel and stay overnight.

Take a scheduled flight to your onward destination from Trivendrum.
